Recent Projects

The design of two Robot systems using Promis-e has been completed for a Midlands automation company. A dual ABB IRC-5 series robot & controller were designed into a material handling control system, whilst an Adept integrated robot/controller was simultaneously designed into a pharmaceutical environmental/QA cell

Mixing Plant (Building/Construction Materials) - RS Power Ltd has successfully completed the design of numerous MCC’s for an East Midlands system integrator. In addition to three Rittal suites incorporating Incomers, Devicenet DOL starters, AC Drives, ICA/PLC & UPS sections, the design of distributed I/O, Profibus DP, PA and Ethernet networks completes the overall system design.

Waste Water MCC’s - RS Power Ltd has recently completed the design of numerous Motor Control Centre (MCC) suites for system integrators MCS Control Systems, Coventry. Consisting of intelligent motor starters such as DOL, Star Delta starters, Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s), Power Factor Correction (PFC), Profibus DP & PA networks etc. the MCC suites were manufactured in Coventry to all applicable standards including relevant Euro Norms and water industry AMP 4.

Numerous Promis-e drawing conversion projects have been supplied, also including hard/soft copy conversions. The drawing conversions have been supplied to numerous UK & Australasian machinery & process companies whose sectors range from tobacco to brewery to foodstuffs.

RS Power Ltd has recently provided project assistance and ‘real’ on-project Promis-e training for a Harrogate gas utility system integrator.

RS Power Ltd has recently purchased additional licenses of Promis-e 2007. By supporting older and most recent versions of Promis-e we can provide our new & existing customers with full compatibility with their existing system.
